February 20: Caminantes (Walkers) 2001.

Director: Fernando León de Aranoa. This documentary begins in early 2001 as Mexican Zapatistas began a march to Mexico City to support the San Andres Accord and to protest the oppression of Mexico's rural indigenous population. In Spanish with English subtitles.

February 27: So Goes the Nation 2006.

Director (s): Adam Del Deo, James D. Stern

A documentary covering the 2004 election, and particularly focusing on the swing state Ohio, is probably something close to essential viewing for those who want to see the inner-workings of election-year politics on both sides and to see what makes both sides work and not work, sometimes at the same time or not at all.

March 5: An Unreasonable Man 2007.

Directors: Henriette Mantel, Steve Skrovan.

Unreasonable Man" traces the life and career of Ralph Nader, one of the most unique, important, and controversial political figures of the past half century.

March 12: Invisibles 2007.

Directors: Isabel Coixet, Fernando Léon de Aranoa, Mariano Barroso, Javier Corcuera, Wim Wenders. A series of short films examining the world's overlooked problems and the people who suffer from them. In Spanish with English subtitles.

Rose Moss is the author of two-novels, the Family Reunion and the Terrorist. Among her more than forty short stories, one won a Quill Prize from the Massachusetts Review and another won a PEN Syndicated Fiction Award. Her stories have also been cited in Best American Short Stories, nominated for Pushcart prizes, and widely anthologized. Her non-fiction has appeared in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and Atlantic Monthly, among other journals and publications. She lives in Cambridge and teaches at Harvard Law School, the Real Colegio Complutense and in the Nieman Program at Harvard.
